Trans-Barrier is a modular barrier system innovatively designed to use an existing Jersey barrier, onto which ADSI installs a stainless steel channel harness and inserts a thirty-inch high plane of NIJ Level IV transparent armor, providing six feet of ballistic defense. This sturdy wall of protection can withstand up to 85 mph winds and can successfully defend against armor-piercing rounds from an assault weapon. The frameless top and sides allow for maximum visibility, providing discreet and invaluable fortification against a variety of threats.

Trans-Barrier is available in both four and five foot wide sections and can be affixed to virtually any Jersey barrier. ADSI also provides a unique lift system that permits the user to easily deploy or remove Trans-Barrier using standard organic equipment.
