What Is T2 & How Does It Work? T2 Tactical Training Systems provide the ultimate training available in the tactical environment. T2 offers state-of-the-art instructional opportunities to law enforcement, military, SWAT and Special Operations units. Users train with their own weapons in a multitude of customized highly-authentic video scenarios designed to develop skills and to hone advanced tactics and capabilities. T2 can accommodate virtually all handgun calibers, a 12-guage shotgun, and even 5.56mm and 7.62mm assault rifles. Trainees engage in a tactical operation reacting to the video and fire their own weapons, with their own ammunition, at the video screen. An infrared camera detects if the predetermined threat has been neutralized. If so, the video scenario is completed. If not, the video continues until the scenario ends. Live rounds passing through the video screen are captured harmlessly by a technologically advanced fortified bullet trap. Proficiency Tracking
Video Production The scenarios, produced with a standard digital video camera, can be of any length and can be customized to virtually any situation. Videos can be made even more authentic by adding extraneous sound and distractions to completely test the trainees’ decision making and marksmanship skills. Once the scenarios have been filmed, the T2 software allows you to identify what targets on the screen are considered hostile or friendly. Systems Available

Another important feature of the T2 is the proficiency tracking. The T2 command console digitally records each user and assigns a proficiency score. Units or agencies can easily track the progress of trainees for each tactical scenario making it beneficial for unit assignments or annual review purposes. Proficiency tracking can also help protect agencies from litigation resulting from an officer involved shooting incident by quickly producing the individuals training history and skill level.
T2 is available either as a permanent fixture that can be installed inside an existing facility or in a mobile platform, which is ideal for multi-agency usage. T2 can also be employed as an outdoor training range. ADSI will custom produce T2 based on client requirements and specifications.
